Robot Pumps
About the company
Robot Pumps is one of Europe's leading manufacturers of drainage and submersible pumps for raw sewage applications as well as mixers and industrial drives. The Dutch company has been called Svedala for almost half a century since it was founded, but after becoming part of the ITT Pump Group in 2002 it was given its current name. The brand's products are widely used by municipal authorities in many countries for installation in pumping stations.
The range of pumping equipment
The RW series of impeller pumps is designed for use in polluted wastewater treatment plants. The impeller of the upper impeller generates a rotating motion of the liquid, which minimizes the risk of damage to the operating elements due to solids. The equipment is made of cast iron and nitrogen treated stainless steel and is available in several installation options.
The RD pumps, with their abrasion resistant design, are designed for continuous operation in waters containing abrasive elements. Turbotex RT models with turbo-jet channel and wear-resistant wear ring, with flow rates from 5 to 1200 m3/h, can handle polluted flow for long periods without interruption. They do not require adjustments and feature improved suction characteristics.
RS submersible pumps are made in cast iron and are suitable for industrial wastewater applications with low flow rates. They are supplied with a macerator head that prevents winding of long elements.
The BW/BT/BD units are pedestal-mounted and operate without being submerged. The range includes the following pumps:
Vortex (BW) for operation in liquids with suspended solids, characterised by low vibration and even wheel wear.
Slurry pumps (BD) with non-clogging vortex impeller design and particular abrasion resistance.
Turbotex (BT) with self-cleaning and specially profiled impeller, featuring high efficiency (hydraulic efficiency up to 80%). Robot Pumps pumping equipment can be purchased from us with direct delivery from the manufacturer at good prices.
